Develop Community Care Groups within your church family who stand ready to respond to special needs and challenges that arise in your church’s geographical area. These “first-responders” of Christ’s love are sent out from your congregation to show-case Christ’s love to the physi-cal needs of your community, while pursuing opportuni-ties to share the message of Christ’s love to them.
 
The five lessons develop the Biblical themes of being a river of life (John 7:38). Each lesson comes with reflection and discussion questions and personal “assignments” to be completed before the next meeting . The last assignment is a gift-experience survey participants complete as Community Care Groups are formed.
